The Barbarian and the Bride (Closed to immortalmarshal)
(OOC: continued from over here)
Many other men would just up and leave, yes, right after getting that nice first fuck into a virgin spouse during a post-raid camp. And indeed, Cor should at least get up and get them both some food and drink before it's all gobbled up by the rest of the horde.
But for now, the older man just wants to enjoy the afterglow of consummating his new marriage. "...hush," he murmured. "Get used to it..." Really, it feels great, having a younger body beneath him after such a great fuck...
Noctis sighed softly as of course Cor refused to move or listen to him. There was no way Noctis was going to admit that it felt nice to be held by Cor after everything. The invasion, losing to savages, taken as a wife, hearing his father is most likely dead… it was nice to be held but Noctis refused to show it. He turned his head, away from Cor, and looked at the tent wall.
“Oh gods,” Noctis said rubbing his face as the embarrassment hit. Everyone probably heard everything which meant the savages knew that Cor had probably bent Noctis over and fucked him hard.

He lifts his head in confusion for a moment, noticing Noct's belated embarrassment. But everything gets cleared up when some of his fellow warriors start singing a wedding drinking song...about the two of them. "...remind me to beat them after I get dressed," he sighs into the prince's shoulder. Not because Cor's embarrassed himself, but because he's cringing at how off-key those assholes are being.

“I’m guessing for a warm bath is out of the question?” Noctis asked still looking at the tent wall and not at Cor.
no subject
"Sadly, no warmth. We're stuck with dumping water skins over ourselves for tonight." He groans as he finally starts to pull out of Noctis, now that his cock's softened enough to do so easily.
no subject
“Is there a river nearby?” Noctis asked because the water skins wouldn’t be enough.
no subject
He did pause when Noct gripped him, but finds himself nodding to that request. The older man slowly finishes pulling out, trying his best to be a little more gentle as well. "There's one nearby, but it's well outside of camp, and I think it's about twilight now. We may have to have Prompto help guard you if you're insisting upon it..."
no subject
"And I insist," Noctis said without hesitation. As he rolled onto his side, slipping away from Cor and showing the older male his back. Cor's come leaked from Noctis' poor abused rear end. "I'm not sleeping cover in come and sweat."
no subject
"Very well--" His growling stomach, however, interrupts him. "...after we eat." And he sits up and starts reaching for his pants.
no subject
“You opened up my side with your impatience,” Noctis said as he slowly sat up. The moss salve was long gone and Noctis was once again bleeding. It didn’t bother him and he carefully moved to grab his shirt.
no subject
"There's more moss in the pouch," he remarks as he starts pulling on his pants. "I can show you how to apply it before I get our meals..." Better start teaching Noctis common tribal stuff now, since they're clearly 'married' and all.

He yanks his own pants on, before pulling on his shirt. He doesn't reach for any armor, not when they wouldn't be going very far. But he does, at least, grab his sword to strap to his waist - just in case. "Can't promise anything nice-smelling to scrub yourself with, but at least the water's clean enough to wash everything off."
no subject
“I just need to feel clean even if I don’t smell it,” Noctis explained as he stood straight. Did he really want to leave the tent and face everyone that knew that Cor had just fucked his brains out? Was what no doubt be a freezing dip in the river be worth it? He could feel the come leaking from his abused hole and Noctis knew it be worth it.
“What do I get my sword back?”
no subject
He hears someone approaching the tent. The familiar voice of the blonde floats thru the fabric walls. "Cor? I'm sorry to interrupt, but the chief really wants to talk to you. Now."
The older man sighs in frustration for a brief moment, before opening the tent flap. "Fine. I'll go see her. But I want you to accompany my spouse as he goes get himself cleaned up. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid again, will you, Prompto?"
"Yessir!" Prompto pounds his fist against his chest twice in salute. "I'll help keep guard over him - don't worry!"
Cor nods, and then turns to Noctis. "This is Prompto, who studied under me before he became a full-fledged warrior. Try not to piss him off, unless you like being stuffed full of arrows." And then the legendary warrior's gone, already walking towards where the majority of folks remain gathered near the greater campfires.
"C'mon - this way!" The blonde gestures towards the stream with the torch in his hand. His boy and quiver remains firmly on his back, but he makes a motion for Noctis to walk ahead of him.
no subject
Holding in a sigh Noctis walked where Prompto indicated. Noctis had no plans on misbehaving. He just wanted to clean up and then get back into the tent.
He followed Prompto’s instructions and soon enough they came upon a slow moving river that looked cold.
“Turn around,” Noctis ordered. He didn’t need Prompto seeing him naked.
no subject
"Nuh-uh! No can do, buddy! Cor said to keep guard over you, and that means making sure you don't go running off the moment my back's turned." He actually sits down, as if to settle in for his 'post', with a slightly teasing grin. "If it helps, the stream gets real deep over there..." he points to a particular spot, not too far from the blonde.
no subject
Seeing that he had very little choice in the matter and Prompto probably heard everything that had gone into the tent, Noctis sighed, and turning his back to the blonde he got undressed once more. The night air was cool on his skin but Noctis knew the stream would be even colder.
So bracing himself Noctis took a breath and waded out into the slow moving stream. On dear Gods it was cold. He refused to show it, not with Prompto watching, so Noctis moved without hesitation into the stream. He got to a place that came up to his waist and with a deep breath he proceed to dunk himself. It was cold and refreshing and he could feel the sweat and come wash away. He would feel better after this. The cold would do good for his tired and sore muscles as well.
After probably what was to long Noctis’ head broke the surface and he turned to look at Prompto. “What can you tell me about Cor?”
no subject
Which, he's kind of doing right now. Sure, much of his eyesight is focused on Noct's pale form under the moonlight. (And man, Cor is a lucky man to have such a handsome 'prince' for a husband...!) But he also spends every other moment gazing around for any signs out of the ordinary.
Until Noct asks about Cor, that is. Then the blonde's face lights up like a candle. "What, beyond all the legends and stories? Well, he's a hard guy to get his trust from. But once you have it, you got it for life! I heard that he traveled across no less than five different tribal areas to save his old mentor from the Wild Necromancer!"

no subject
Though he did look a little confused on that last request. "What, like he's hiding some part of him? Only thing he's hiding most of the time is how unsure he is about many things. Y'know, when he has to meddle in leadership stuff, how to train us apprentices, how to handle kids... Though he's really good at the latter; I dun see why he thinks he'd make a bad father."
no subject
“And none of the tales can be real. I don’t believe them,” Noctis said shaking his head. “He is just a man that is good with a sword.” His side would attest to that. Which ached in the cold water but Noctis ignored it.
no subject
Prompto gives Noctis a really weird look. "What is wrong with you city folks? Not everyone sees the spirits, but that don't mean that they're real. And just because you didn't see someone kill an evil wizard doesn't mean that it didn't happen. Only reason I can confirm the whole truth about the Wild Necromancer is that--"
He hears a rustle from a nearby bush, and quickly turns around while reaching for his bow. But it's too late - the thick club already swings quick enough to hit him square in the temple, knocking him flat on the ground unconscious.
"You always talk too much, shadow-talker." The man appears to look like many of the other tribe members - shaggy-looking, decorated in scarves, and dressed in furs. The glare he gives to Noctis, however, is anything but kind. "And you...you don't belong with us at all."
no subject
“Well we both agree on that,” Noctis stated from where he stood in the water, it was at his waist so everything was covered. “But there is nothing either of us can do about it. I doubt Cor will let me go back just because you don’t like me here.” Noctis was watching the other male very closely, waiting for him to make a move so he could try and counter it.
no subject
The intruder spits on the bank of the stream in disgust. "Filthy city noble. You think that getting to fuck one of our own is your right? After you and yours took m'wife?" He starts to stomp towards Noctis, club raising up in preparation for another swing.
no subject
Noctis tensed and he looked for some kind of weapon as the intruder moved closer to the water, his club raising to swing at Noctis. What Noctis couldn’t see was behind the prince, on the other side of the stream, yellow and red and blue and green eyes started to glow from the bushes and trees and grass. The spirits were watching. But Noctis didn’t see any of that. No, all he saw was a guy angry and crazy enough to try and kill him and there was no weapon in sight. So Noctis did the one thing he thought he would never do.
“Cor!” Noctis yelled the name loud and clear and hoped that someone from the camp heard him.
no subject
He stops, however, as soon as he sees those eyes. The colors drain from his face for a moment or two. "O-Oh...O mightly spirits of the forest! Please, hear by plea...!"
He points the club at Noctis. "This one, his father...they dared to spit on our traditions, defiled your homes, and slew many of our people! Avenge us--" It almost sounds like he's trying to feed Noctis to the forest spirits in order to save his own skin...which is very likely.
But the man forgot, in his rage, that the Great Spirits do judge a man based on his heart as well as his actions...
no subject
Was this a ploy? A trick to get Noctis to turn so he would be vulnerable? Well the prince wasn’t going to fall for it. He kept facing the attacker. “If you are doing that to make me look, then you will be sorely disappointed.”
Ghost like coeurl started to slowly walk out of the bush. There were two of them and they kept their eyes on the tribesman.
no subject
The intruder looks like he's about to plea again for a few moments. And then an idea lights up his eyes, his face twisting into an evil grin. It's as if he didn't hear the prince's snarky response. "Yes...of course. That's why they don't attack. I must restore honor to my family... Must prove that I am still a capable warrior..."
He rushes at Noctis, club raised and screaming a warcry. Little does he know, however, that only one of those two humans are walking away alive...
no subject
That is when the coeurl attacked. The ghost felines jumped over Noctis and took the intruder down, tearing him to pieces between their powerful front paws and jaws. Noctis’ eyes went wide as he watched the transparent coeurl and he back paddle as he held his side.
“What the….” Noctis had no idea what was going on but for some strange reason he didn’t feel scared or that the ghost like coeurl were a threat. It was almost like they were protecting him… though Noctis had no idea why.

Once they were done, one couerl turns to Noctis, while the other gallops towards the camp. The one facing Noctis seems eerily calm, even satisfied at killing that insulting human. She paws closer, close enough to sniff him...
And then she purrs so sweetly as she starts nuzzling him, rubbing her head up against his chest and head like some overgrown feline seeking attention. ~At last...our chosen has found a worthy mate,~ came a female voice echoing throughout the prince's mind...and it seems to be coming from the feline herself.
no subject
With a lot of hesitation Noctis brought his hand up and scratched behind her ear as she rubbed against his aching chest and head. And then she spoke and Noctis was pretty sure that he had died. He had probably died and this was all some kind of punishment.
“Are you talking… about Cor?” Noctis asked as he scratched the couerl, frowning. He was talking to a ghostly couerl. Yes, he had definitely died.
The couerl that had taken off, galloping towards the camp, slowed to a walk once he had reached the camp. It was like he was putting on a show, gathering as much attention as he could, as he made his way to the chief’s tent and his chosen.

She presses a nose against the area over his heart, and a rumble-purr seems to travel from her into him, along with a jolt of what could only be magic. ~Mate of our chosen, you will receive my blessing of lightning travel. Use it in your hours of need, when you must travel far in such a small amount of time...~
Cor, meanwhile, hears the commotion, and trades worried glances with his chief. Ignoring her grumbling about Noctis being the possible culprit, he quickly moves out of the tent - and stops cold as soon as he sees his totem animal padding thru the camp towards them. Reverently, he sinks to his knees, bowing his head out of pure respect. "Oh, totem of my soul - speak, and I will listen...!" After all, it's not every day that your frickin' totem animal shows up in the middle of a large group of people, so it must be important...
no subject
Noctis blinked and his body twitched when he felt the couerl press her nose against his heart and he felt what was electricity? Magic? But Noctis understood that the spirit was imparting a gift onto him and he bowed his head in respect.
“Thank you… but are you sure I deserve such a blessing?” Noctis asked knowing what his people and his family had done to the spirits and the tribes and anyone different than them. “I…” He hadn’t been allowed to believe in the spirits so this… was so surreal and Noctis didn’t think he deserved it.
The ghostly couerl moved closer once Cor had knelt before him. The feline bumped his head against Cor’s in greeting and nuzzled his cheek. ~My mate and I have protected and seen your mate. You have picked well, Chosen. He isn’t yet corrupted by power.~ Came a male’s voice that could only be described as feline inside of Cor’s mind. ~We have blessed your mate and now you will be blessed. Stand.~
