Of course it was. It was all about a man saving the royal he loved and knowing that he'd be taking her back where she belonged. Well, untli you discover that the Prince is evil.

It's a long hall to the throne, though, and Gladio watches, his eyes darting around thoughtfully. Maybe one day they'd be able to do this without getting in trouble too.

"Surprised you want anything to do with the throne right now."

“Well what I want to do on the throne isn’t very princely, now is it?” Noctis pointed out as he headed for the throne, heading up the steps without hesitation. Gladio was right though. Noctis tended to avoid this room the most but he had gotten the idea of having sex on the throne when it wasn’t his throne and Noctis just couldn’t get it out of his head.

“Mmmmm no,” Noctis said with a shrug of a shoulder. He hadn’t thought that far. He had only thought of the exciting part and not what comes after it. “Don’t want to get the throne dirty?”

“Little too late for that, isn’t it?” Noctis asked, smirking like a cat that had caught the canary. “Or do I need to remind you of all the things we’ve done together?” Noctis’ smirk just grew as he continued to climb the stairs.

“I’m property of the throne,” Noctis corrected as they finally reached the throne. He paused in front of it, taking in what would be his seat one day. He frowned at that thought. “I’m property of the Lucis bloodline. I’m not a free person, Gladio. I don’t get to make my own choices.”
